Captain Robert Dunbar has over twenty five years sea-going and eight years shore based management experience, working principally within the LNG trade. He has a proven track record of delivering “quality marine operations” to the highest industry standards. During his sea-going career he served with two oil majors on tankers carrying various oils and products, bulk carriers and a significantly high number of LNG carriers of both Membrane and Moss construction. In his shore based employment he has experience in LNG Operations, Quality Assurance, HSSE, Security, Auditing, Fleet Management, Ship Inspections, Training and most recently, ship/shore compatibility studies for LNG carriers in Japan and other countries.
